Messaging and Evidence Marketing will lead the strategic
development and execution of evidence-based marketing initiatives
and comprehensive messaging for our portfolio of products. This
role is crucial for effectively communicating the value of our
offerings to various stakeholders, including customers, healthcare
professionals, and internal teams. It will drive evidence-based
marketing strategies that support our overall business objectives
and enhance our brand presence in the market. The role will focus
on amplifying key evidence, managing digital platforms, and
creating cohesive messaging strategies that resonate with both
internal and external stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Under
(e.g., limited supervision, general direction, etc.) and in
accordance with all applicable federal, state and local
laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and
guidelines, this position:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive
portfolio messaging strategy aligned with the overall business
goals. Collaborate with cross-functional and regional teams to
ensure consistent and impactful messaging across all marketing
channels.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive
analysis to understand customer needs, market trends, and potential
opportunities. Utilize insights to refine messaging and positioning
of portfolio products.
- Evidence Marketing: Partner with clinical, medical, and
regulatory teams to gather and articulate key evidence supporting
product claims. Develop thought leadership content that showcases
the portfolio's impact and value in the healthcare landscape.
Develop and maintain portfolio Evidence Generation Strategies (EGS)
and Evidence Dissemination Strategies (EDS) in partnership with the
clinical science teams. Create and manage evidence roadmaps and
compendiums to support strategic priorities. Amplify evidence for
key aligned needs through innovative marketing techniques. Oversee
the development and maintenance of an evidence webpage showcasing
critical data and resources.
- Portfolio Messaging: Drive holistic portfolio-level messaging
and claims that resonate with target audiences. Lead disease state
level workstreams and efforts to effectively communicate the
nuances within specific therapeutic areas and the associated
messaging and evidence needs
- Claims/AMP Process: Manage the Claims Approval and Management
process to ensure compliance and alignment with marketing
strategies.
- Digital Platforms: Implement omnichannel marketing strategies,
ensuring readiness of approved claims across key Points of Care
(POC), sales aids, congress presentations, communications
materials, social media, and the JJMT website. Develop and execute
a comprehensive digital marketing strategy to enhance online
engagement and brand presence.
- Graphics & Materials: Oversee the creation of high-quality
marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, website
content, and digital assets that effectively communicate product
benefits and differentiators and product and evidence messaging.
Ensure that all messaging is supported by robust scientific
evidence and data.
- Lifecycle Management (LCM) - Trademarks: Develop strategies for
Lifecycle Management to protect and enhance trademarks associated
with key products.
- LEX Project Management Governance / Excellence: Implement
project management governance best practices to ensure efficiency
and excellence in all marketing initiatives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with
internal and external stakeholders to align messaging with business
strategies and customer needs. Present marketing strategies and
results to senior leadership and other key stakeholders.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor a high-performing marketing
team, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and
continuous improvement. Set clear goals and performance indicators
to track the effectiveness of messaging and marketing
strategies.Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Science, or related
field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in the life
sciences, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare industries.
- Proven track record in evidence-based marketing and portfolio
messaging strategies.
- Project management experience is required. The successful
candidate will collaborate with cross-functional partners to
execute plans and successfully launch programs and campaigns.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing platforms and
omnichannel marketing implementation.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability
to convey complex information in an accessible manner.
- Experience managing teams effectively.
- Demonstrated success working in a collaborative and matrixed
environment.
- Global experience preferred.
- Up to 20% travel including weekends (domestic and
international).The Company maintains highly competitive,
performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines,
this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in
accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual
performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive
to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and
the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year.
Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual
basis. ---

calendar year of Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours
per calendar year
