We are seeking a Dietary Aide to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility. As a Dietary Aide, you will be responsible for assisting the kitchen staff in preparing and serving meals to residents, as well as maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:

- - - - - - - - Assist with meal preparation and cooking
- - - - - - - - Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to dietary requirements and portion control
- - - - - - - - Follow menus and prepare food items as directed by the Cook or Dietary Manager
- - - - - - - - Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas as assigned on cleaning schedule
- - - - - - - - Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- - - - - - - - Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- - - - - - - - High school diploma or equivalent
- - - - - - - - Prior experience in food service or healthcare setting preferred
- - - - - - - - Ability to read and follow menus, recipes, and instructions
- - - - - - - - Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines,
- - - San Bernardino Food Handlers Certification
- - - - - - - - Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- - - - - - - - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- - - Must have reliable transportaion
- - - - - - - - Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- - - Ability to withstand changing temperatures from cold to hot.
- - -Available to work on-call between the operating hours of 5am to 8pm/7days a week.
