Reporting to the Lift Team Supervisor, the Hosp. Lift Team
Assistant assists direct patient care providers with safe patient
handling. The Lift Team Assistant strives to promote an environment
of safe patient handling which provides for the safety of our
patients while maintaining a safe work environment for the patient
care providers. Provides direct patient care as well as education
and training for the health care providers in the use of lift
techniques and transfer equipment. What It Takes to be Successful

mathematical computations, and to use general office equipment
including computers, copiers, and calculators Must be available to
work overtime as patient care needs demand Minimum six months
experience in a healthcare environment or training in a
healthcare/emergency/rescue field Current BLS certification
