Volt is hiring for a QC Receiving Inspector in Huntington Beach, CA.


As a QC Receiving Inspector you will:
--- Interpret and read engineering data, drawings, wiring diagrams, customer, and company specifications
--- Competent in using measuring tools
--- Inspects, tests, and documents the incoming receiving testing of purchased electrical parts or components used in aircraft interior assemblies
--- Testing for defects such as assembly, soldering, crimping, wires, stripping, and bonding
--- Understand root cause and participate in corrective actions
--- Perform inspections to visual and cosmetic standards
--- Able to write inspection reports and nonconformance reports
--- Ensures quality standards are understood and maintained
--- Data collection for statistical analysis
--- Inspects and documents electrical products for proper packaging for shipment
--- Travel as required to support suppliers or source/auditing inspection program

This is a fully on-site 3-month contract opportunity. Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:00 am- 2:30 pm, occasional 8-hour shift on Saturdays. Extended or irregular hours may be required.


The ideal candidate will have:
--- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience
--- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required
--- Associate Degree, Trade/Technical School or certification is desired
--- Ability to read blueprints
--- Ability to use measuring tools


Preferred:
--- ASQ Certification desired


Pay Rate: $25.00 - $27.00/hr Depending on Experience
